Side by side, with sources. You decide.
This section puts two card processors side by side in one table, row by row: pricing model, published rates, debit, monthly fees, hardware, payouts, disputes and cancellation. Every row comes from each provider’s own pages, with the sources listed at the bottom. It is for businesses looking at more than one provider, or checking a quote against another company’s published prices.
The tables do not rank the providers or pick one. Which one costs less for a given business depends on its own numbers: how much it sells, its average sale, the cards its customers use and how it takes payments. The card fee calculator works out an estimate from those numbers.
Today the comparisons cover Canadian pricing for Helcim, Square, Stripe and TD Merchant Solutions. The Providers pages have more detail on each company, and Flat Rate vs Interchange Plus vs Tiered explains why two providers’ rates can be hard to set against each other directly.
